Dr. Firuza Parikh directs the Department of Assisted Reproduction & Genetics at Jaslok Hospital Mumbai and is the Founder of FertilTree, with 35 years of experience and over 12,000 IVF pregnancies to her credit. She trained at Seth G. S. Medical College Mumbai and pursued Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and IVF at Yale University, USA, where she co-published landmark work on assisted reproduction. She established the first dedicated unit for assisted reproductive technology in the Indian private sector at Jaslok in 1989, performed India's first male infertility ICSI procedure in 1995, and is widely regarded as the doyen of Indian IVF; she is past President of the Mumbai Obstetric & Gynaecological Society.
