Narasimhan is one of India's foremost electrophysiologists and serves as Director of Electrophysiology at AIG Hospitals, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, with a 35-year track record in arrhythmia management, ablation therapy and cardiac device implantation. He previously built and led the Electrophysiology programme at CARE Hospitals Hyderabad, training a generation of EP specialists now practising across India and the Middle East, and currently serves as President of the Indian Society of Electrocardiology. An international-calibre rhythm specialist, he is regular faculty at the Heart Rhythm Society (USA) and Asia-Pacific Heart Rhythm Society meetings, and treats complex arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and congenital rhythm disorders.
